Beijing, 17th November 2023 (BISTU)--- Aiming at offering a better understanding of Chinese culture and folk customs, School of International Education organized a trip for international students to visit Chinese Ethnic Culture Park.  

Prior to departure, faculties of the School produced a brief introduction to Chinese Ethnic Culture Park and explained requirements on report writing concerning the visit.  

Students were showed around feature architectures, costumes, and articles for daily use of minorities and were very much interested in the traditional building style and colorful folk cultures. They took photos and note for the social practice report as was required by the School.  

Students commented that they loved the practical way of teaching in exploration of Chinese culture. They know more about Chinese folk culture. More importantly, they have enjoyed the live experiences of various folk cultures which they would try best to promote among their friends.  

This practical teaching-related activity offered an in-depth understanding of Chinese folk culture and built a platform for international students from various countries to strengthen their friendship and mutual understanding. The School is convinced that such practical teaching activities would motivate international students’ interest in China and would encourage them to become ambassadors of Sino-foreign cultural exchanges.
