Beijing, 24th May 2022 (BISTU)--- BISTU teams hit a record high in the number of awards, i.e., 2 gold medals, 5 silver medals, and 21 bronze ones in Qingchuang Beijing 2022 Challenge Cup Entrepreneurial Business Plan Competition among Beijing-based University Students.  

As the largest entrepreneurial business plan competition among Beijing-based universities, Qingchuang Beijing 2022 Challenge Cup Entrepreneurial Business Plan Competition among Beijing-based University Students is an important platform in respect of nurturing independent innovative competences of students. BISTU teams have finally won 2 gold medals, 2 silvers ones and 8 bronzes ones in the main section (in total 15 works were presented) and 3 silver medals and 13 bronze ones in the specialized section (in total 27 works were presented).  

BISTU Communist Youth League Committee, with support from relating divisions and offices, has attached great importance to the Competition. As early as in September 2021, mobilization and campaign about the Competition has commenced. Seminars were held for winners in past competitions to share their experiences and produce answers to questions raised by new contestants. And 57 works were selected on merit basis by experts from all 337 works filed by potential contestants. With collaboration among BISTU schools, supervisors of the teams, team members, and supervising teachers, outstanding performance was finally achieved in the Competition.  

The record-high number of awards was a breakthrough for competition of this series. The University will further encourage students to participate more actively in science and technology competitions of the kind so as to temper their competences in entrepreneurship and innovation.
