Beijing, 17^th October 2023 (BISTU)--- President Guo Fu met with Prof. Viput Ongsakul, an AACSB accreditation mentor and Dean of Business School of National Institute of Development Administration (Bangkok, Thailand) on 16^th October 2023 at Taihanglu Campus.  

Guo Fu extended welcome and gratitude to Prof. Viput Ongsakul for his mentor visit to BISTU School of Economics and Management. Following an introduction to BISTU in respect of historical development, features of academic disciplines and academic programs, and latest progresses with teaching and research, Guo Fu said that the University has attached great importance to AACSB accreditation. Substantial progress has been achieved since Prof. Viput Ongsakul worked as an AACSB mentor for School of Economics and Management in 2020. It was expected that both parties would continue to strengthen communication to advance the progress of accreditation procedures.  

Prof. Viput Ongsakul thanked the University for warm reception and expressed that AACSB accreditation at BISTU School of Economics and Management was going smoothly. He would work as a qualified mentor to provide due assistance to support the School in accreditation.  

A mentor meeting would then be held at School of Economics and Management on AACSB accreditation when Prof. Viput Ongsakul would provide assistance with the implementation of the actions needed to align with the standards for AACSB accreditation.  

The meeting was attended by Vice President Xiao Zhisong as well as secretaries and deans of School of Economics and Management.
