High end numerical control machine tools were widely applied to the field of aeronautics and astronautics, rail transport, and energy. Technologies of state assessment and intelligence maintenance of high-end numerical control machine tools have long been in the hands of European and American countries. From industry perspective, the end to end data sensing, accurate assessment of running state, and intelligent maintenance is a huge challenge as well as urgent demand for related industries. Key technologies and applications for state assessment and intelligence maintenance of high-end numerical control machine tools could be applied to aeronautics, astronautics, industry for high end numerical control machine tools, building Beijing as an intelligent city, etc.

Aiming at implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the philosophies of the 20th National Congress of CPC, Beijing Municipal Government held fast to the principle of innovation-based development, viewed innovation as the first drive for development, and granted Beijing Science and Technological Progress Award to individuals and organizations who have made outstanding contributions to science and technology progress and social economic development of Beijing. The University would keep on researching with innovation awareness, strengthen fundamental research, and try to make breakthroughs on key technologies to make our contribution to municipal development.
