School of Foreign Studies organized students to attend 2013 National English Contest for College Students(NECCS) in April and May, cooperating with Academic Affairs Office and other offices.  

Altogether 806 students enlisted their names for the preliminary contest of B group in English major and C in non-English major, with 6 students including Yezi and Huo Xinwen,etc entered the final of B and C group. In the final, one of them won the first prize in B group; and four gained the first in C group.  

NECCS is the sole national-level competition on the college students’ comprehensive application ability in English with the approval of the Ministry of Education for all students of the graduate and undergraduate level. It has been successively organized since 1999.
