Beijing, March 18th, 2014(BISTU)--- Jointly organized by Beijing Information Industry Association and BISTU, 2014 Spring Job Fair on Xiaoying Campus attracted 109 employers with over 2,000 vacancies covering the area of computing, electronic information, communication, information management, mechanics, automation, administration management, financial management, accounting, business management, etc. About 1,800 graduates of BISTU attended the fair, with more than 3,000 CVs received by employers and over 100 initial employment contracts signed.

BISTU has been attaching great importance to employment affairs of the graduates. Effective communication was conducted prior to the Job Fair between employers and Prof. Zheng Junli, Chairman of University Council and Dr. Liu Gonghui, President of BISTU. Surveys have also been made on vacancies and their specified requirements upon graduates. Administration of schools and tutors were all present on the Fair to learn more about the job market and to recommend graduating students of excellence. To create a better environment for the students and employers, the University has completed the thorough preparations days ago.
It is an efficient Job Fair with enough quality employers, according to majority of students on the fair. By communicating with the employers, students obtained a clearer understanding of their career planning and how to start a business--- a good beginning for their future.

The year 2014 will meet 7.27 million university graduates searching for job vacancies, a continuous increase in recent few years. BISTU Office for Recruitment and Career Consultation has established sound and solid links with the industries, having hosted three job fairs in last semester. Four more job fairs are being prepared for this semester, which will offer students a variety of employment opportunities.
