Secondary discipline: Corporate Management

This secondary discipline has achieved influential academic research results including publishing 8 monographs and over 40 high quality academic papers, and winning one provincial awards in recent years. Five research directions are provided by this discipline: Production Operation and Quality Management, Accounting and Financial Management, Corporate Project Management, and Human Resources Management.

Direction A: Production Operation and Quality Management

This direction is devoted to cultivating researchers in the field of corporate operation management and production quality management. And the research areas of this direction include behavioral theory, operation management, quality management, etc.

Direction B: Accounting and Financial Management

This direction is devoted to cultivating professionals in the field of corporate financial management and corporate accounting. And the research areas of this direction include internationalization of small and medium enterprises’ finance and service enterprises’ financial management and accounting.

Direction C: Corporate Project Management

This direction is devoted to cultivating professionals in the field of enterprises’ project management, project financing, project evaluation, etc. And the research areas of this direction include application and general laws of project management in production process and theories, methodologies and applications of enterprises’ project evaluation.

Direction D: Marketing Management

This direction is devoted to cultivating professionals in the field of corporate marketing management. The research emphases of this direction include exploring the marketing characteristics of producer services based upon the combination of virtual operation and development of producer services, investigating the links and differences between function exchange market and final product market of producer services, and studying how enterprises conduct effective marketing activities in the above two markets.

Direction E: Human Resources Management

This direction is devoted to cultivating professionals in the field of corporate human resource management. And the research areas of this direction include human resources strategy, human resource management system design, selection and training of personnel, compensation management, incentive mechanism, etc.

Secondary discipline: Accounting

This secondary discipline has a stable and high quality academic team, and it also has established long-term cooperation with a number of firms and enterprises. Two research areas are provided by this discipline including Accounting Theory and Methodology and Corporate Finance.

Direction A: Accounting Theory and Methodology

The characteristic of this direction is the combination of theories and practices. The focus of this direction on the macro-level is exploring to establish basic theories of financial accounting in the context of socialist market economy and the focus on the micro-level is exploring the models and methods to strengthen corporate management taking the advantage of accounting management under the context of economic globalization and knowledge economy.

Direction B: Corporate Finance

The research focuses of this direction are on exploring basic laws of corporate finance operation using the experience of financial theories and practices in developed countries for reference, and studying the methods and ways to promote enterprises’ development by means of modern financial models.

Secondary discipline: Technology Economics and Management

This secondary discipline has achieved fruitful academic research outcomes including publishing 63 monographs and over 40 high quality academic papers, and winning one provincial award in recent years. At the same time, this discipline is always devoted to serving public sectors and enterprises in decision making, and has quite positive influence in the society. Three research directions are provided by this discipline: Technology Management and Policies, Technology Economics Theory and Methodology, and Technology Innovation Management and Decision Making.

Direction A: Technology Management and Policies

The research areas of this direction mainly include theories, methodologies and policies of technology management, and technology evaluation.

Direction B: Technology Economics Theory and Methodology

This direction aims at exploring theories and methodology systems of project techno-economic analysis, covering evaluation technologies and methods on all stages in the implementation of projects, and the frontier theories and advanced experiences of project management.

Direction C: Technology Innovation Management and Decision Making

This direction focuses on the below research areas: corporate technology innovation, technology strategy, technology evolution, technology innovation capability, corporate core competitive capability, research and development management, innovative organization, innovation management and decision making, formation mechanism and development pattern of corporate technological progress, etc.
