Beijing, 1st July 2026 (BISTU)--- Chairperson Xie Jiangling of the University Council met with the delegation of Beijing Aerospace Control Instrument Institute (the 13th Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC)) headed by Chairperson Yu Chunmei on 30th June 2026. Both institutions conducted discussions on joint research and talent cultivation. The Event was hosted by Vice President He Wei.

Xie Jiangling extended warm greetings to the delegation and offered an introduction to the University in respect of educational orientation and missions, academic disciplines, and research strengths. He expressed that automation and precision measurement & control were in high alignment with inertial navigation and opto-mechatronics of the Institute. Both institutions could work together in party building, scientific research, talent cultivation, and commercialization of research findings. He added.

Yu Chunmei pointed out that engineering resources of the Institute and talent reserve of the University were perfect combination and foundation for future cooperation. It was hoped that both institutions would strengthen communication and coordination in joint construction of research platforms, talent exchange, and technological exchange. She looked forward to fruitful cooperation between both institutions in the future.

Business Manager Wang Xuefeng of the Institute and Deputy Director of Organization Department of BISTU chaired the session on joint party building.

Director Cao Lin of BISTU Department of Research hosted following activities on research exchanges and offered an introduction to research progress and commercialization of research findings at BISTU. Discussions on inertia technology, micro-electromechanical systems, and intelligence integrated navigation were conducted among Yang Yong, Yang Ming, and Meng Fanchen of the Institute and BISTU faculty including Vice Dean Liu Ning of College of Automation and Prof. You Rui and Prof. Sun Ting of College of Instrument Science and Opto-electronics Engineering.

Yu Chunmei and delegation members visited the exhibition hall of research achievements and were informed of research progresses and commercialization of research findings of BISTU in intelligent control, precision sensor, and information technology.

He Wei concluded that both institutions have reached consensus on joint research, offering two-bound training, and joint party building. Joint efforts of both institutions would contribute greatly to technological progress of our nation. He added.

The event was also joined by other faculty members of the Institute and BISTU.
