2026 Open Day at BISTU

Beijing, 10th May 2026 (BISTU)--- Over 30,000 students and parents gathered at Shahe Campus of BISTU for one-stop consultation service on the Open Day & Joint College Admission Consultation Fair, an event organized by BISTU and guided by Beijing Education Examinations Authority and Beijing League of College Admissions Service. The Event saw 46 Beijing-based universities, including Beihang University, Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing Normal University, China Agricultural University, etc.

Chair Person Xie Jiangling, President Guo Fu, and all other senior administrators of the University joined the Event and conducted exchanges with students and their parents.

BISTU colleges delivered a comprehensive display of their talent cultivation characteristics, academic strengths, faculty and team, and education achievements. Students and parents were provided with detailed information on majors and colleges as well as educational traditions and strengths of the University.

BISTU published changes on 2026 admissions: newly-added overseas training program; newly-added experimental classes in Electrical Engineering and Automation and Communication Engineering; and name changes--- Qin Xin Experimental Class in Computer being changed into Qin Xin Experimental Class in Computer Science and Technology and Qin Xin Experimental Class in Electronic Information being changed into Qin Xin Experimental Class in Communication Engineering and Qin Xin Experimental Class in Electronic Information Engineering; newly-added dual-training program of New Energy Science and Technology (Wind, Solar, Energy Storage, and Digitelligence) in collaboration with North China Electric Power University; newly added five programs in Computer Science and Technology, Software Engineering, Electronic Information Engineering, Accounting (CPA), and Business Administration.

The event coincided with Mother's Day saw a themed station titled "Gratitude to Mothers" providing wish cards and small festive gifts to the attending parents and students. Meanwhile, teachers from BISTU's calligraphy association were invited to write calligraphy on-site and presented the characters to students. The wish cards, bearing the examinees' aspirations and expectations, were tied to the wish tree at No. 55 Taihang Road.

Learning and living facilities were fully open to parents and students on the day to share the unique charm of the campus of warmth, calmness, and vitality at BISTU.
