Beijing, 27th January 2026 (BISTU)--- Chairperson Xie Jiangling of the University Council met with Prof. Ju Dongying, a Foreign Fellow of the Engineering Academy of Japan and President of Japan China Science Technology and Culture Center. Both parties discussed interdisciplinary research and introduction of high-level talents. The meeting and discussions were attended by Vice President Xiao Zhisong and Directors of Department of International Affairs, Office of Industry and Productive Asset Management, etc.

Xie Jiangling extended warm greetings to Prof. Ju Dongying. He pointed out that BISTU now is on a crucial period of building a high-level university, indicating that the University is in need of top-tier talents and intellectual resources. Prof. Ju Dongying is a distinguished researcher and innovator in energy technologies and intelligent manufacturing. Cooperation between the two parties would become a model of in-depth industry-learning-research-application integration.

Ju Dongying explained his current researches and produced constructive suggestions regarding future cooperation in the field of energy technologies and intelligent manufacturing. Japan China Science Technology and Culture Center would recommend outstanding talents to BISTU. He added.

Xiao Zhisong expressed that the University would provide due support with cooperation between the two parties. Successful experiences of Prof. Ju Dongying in international technological cooperation would be a valuable reference for BISTU in talent introduction and educational globalization.

Both party agreed to establish a framework of cooperation in near future, symbolizing a new step of BISTU in educational globalization and introduction of high-level global talents.
