
Beijing, 27th June 2026 (BISTU)--- Themed on “Supporting innovation and research finding commercialization, deepening university-local government integration”, unveiling ceremony of BISTU Science Park was held on 26th June 2026 at China Mobile Information Port Center. The Ceremony was attended by Gan Jingzhong, Secretary of the Changping District Committee of the CPC, Deputy Director Zhao Jing of Science Park Management Department of Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, General Manager Han Fengyi of China Mobile Park Construction and Development Co., Ltd, President Guo Fu of BISTU, and Vice President He Wei and Vice President Li Huatao of BISTU. The event was hosted by He Wei.

Gan Jingzhong extended warm congratulations to establishment of BISTU Science Park. It was a joint achievement of BISTU, China Mobile Information Port Center, and local governments and would play a positive role in nurturing new-quality productive forces and boosting emerging industries. It symbolized new progresses that BISTU has achieved in facilitating commercialization of research findings in an organized manner. Local governments of Changping District would continue to deepen cooperation with universities in scientific and technological innovation and provide sufficient support with development of the Park. Gan said.

Guo Fu extended sincere thanks to all friends for their support. He commented that university science parks were key hubs connecting innovation resources in universities and industrial markets. They were also key carriers for implementing innovation-oriented development strategy and promoting in-depth industry-education fusion. BISTU would strengthen university-local government integration and school-enterprise coordinated development to make BISTU-marked contributions to regional high-quality development and the goal of building Beijing into an international center of science and technology innovation. He added.

Gan Jingzhong, Guo Fu, Zhao Jing, and Han Fengyi jointly unveiled BISTU Science Park.

He Wei and Li Huatao respectively announced policies and detailed rules of the University in promoting commercialization of research findings, aiming to motivate researchers.

An “OPC ecological community” was officially established to provide a supportive ecology for entrepreneurial choices made by faculty and students. The Community was jointly unveiled by Director Li Junjie of Changping District Administration for Market Regulation, Director Xiong Yuchuan of Department of School-Local Government Integration of Beijing Future Science City, Mayor Huo Kun of Shahe Town, Director Cao Lin BISTU Department of Research, and Director Cheng Jin of Office for Industry-Education Integration.

The event saw road shows of five independently developed scientific and technological achievements of BISTU: AI-controlled non-contact laser non-invasive fat-reduction and body-shaping robot, high-temperature piezoelectric materials and high-temperature sensors, edge-side sensing-storage-computing fusion image sensor, wireless intelligent leakage monitoring and early warning system, and whole-process intelligent diagnosis and treatment endoscope, displaying strong competitiveness of the University in key technology research and commercialization of research findings.

Attendees and distinguished guests of the event visited the exhibition of BISTU research achievements and conducted a survey on BISTU Science Park.

BISTU Science Park would center on the demand of digital economy development in Beijing and the goal of building Beijing into an international center of science and technology innovation. It was aimed at building a first-class university science park to promote innovation, serve industries, and bring BISTU-marked momentum to regional economic development.
The event was also attended by directors of relating departments of Beijing Municipality and Changping District, faculty and staff of China Mobile Information Port Center, deans of BISTU colleges, representatives of alumni enterprises, and faculty and students of BISTU.
