BISTU Wins Great Honors in 2019 Robocup

Beijing, 6th May, 2019, (BISTU)— 2019 Robocup, held in Shaoxing of Zhejiang Province on 21st April 2019, witnesses a series of honors won by BISTU teams. The Robocup accommodates around 3,000 faculties and students from universities home and abroad.  

  

 

 

Not surprisingly, BISTU Water team is honored as championship of medium sized robots with a 4:3 score after fierce competitions.  

 

 

I-Kid, a team composed of students from School of Instrumentation Science and Opto-electronics Engineering, wins a gold medal in technology challenge competition in humanoid robots group and a bronze medal for 4vs4 small-sized robot football competition.    

 

Team of Robot Engineering Research Association (RERA) of BISTU wins a gold medal competence challenge and a silver medal in barrier surmounting and rescuing.  

RoboCup is a very authoritative, advanced, high-level, extensively accepted robot competition in the field of robot studies of the world. It starts the first competition in 1997. RoboCup China Open is a formal, regional component of RoboCup with focus on exploration from robotic technology, covering a number of competition items, including humanoid football group, medium-sized group, simulation group, small sized group, standard platform group, RoboCup rescue group, Robocup family group, Robocup football for teenagers, rescuing group, dancing group, CoSapce group, and robot space fight.
