Beijing, 18th September 2018 (BISTU)— BISTU School of Computer Science team is honored with runner-up of Xunfei Cup Chinese Machine Reading Comprehension Competition (CMRC2018), as is shown in official news release of CMRC2018.
Chinese machine reading comprehension is typical application of artificial intelligence in understanding of Chinese texts. Currently all systems ranking high adopt the technology of deep learning. It is one of the hottest issues in processing of natural languages and remains a key area of research at School of Computer Science.
The team is supervised by Zhang Yangsen from School of Computer Science and led by Jiang Yuru. It includes Zheng Jia, Mao Teng and Zhang Yuyao. In the end, the team wins such a great honor after five months of hard work and generous support from Smart Information Processing Lab of the School.
Competitor teams of the competition include teams from other universities, like Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Shanxi University, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, Wuhan University, etc.
