Beijing, 1st December, 2017 (BISTU)— The Annual Meeting of Academic Committee of Beijing Municipal Base for Knowledge Management Research successfully completes on Xiaoying Campus of BISTU, 30th November, 2017. It covers discussion on research achievements and future development of the Base and establishes a new academic committee. The meeting is attended by Zhang Qingxi, Deputy Director General of Beijing Municipal Planning Office for Philosophy and Social Sciences, BISTU Vice President Chen Gang, Prof. Ge Xinquan, Chief Expert of the Base, and other experts and scholars and is chaired by Dean Zhang Jian of School of Economics and Management.
On behalf of BISTU, Chen Gang extends thanks to all scholars and experts for their years of support and care. And he positively comments that the Base has made outstanding contributions in the field of theory and application of knowledge management, theory and application of circular economy, game theory, and experimental economics. He then presents letters of appointment to new academic members.
Zhang Qingxi sings high praises of research achievements of the base and suggests that the Base continue to play the role of a think-tank to produce more theoretical support with social and economic development of Beijing.
Ge Xinquan, Director and Chief Expert of Beijing Municipal Base for Knowledge Management Research delivers a report on progress made in the past two years as well as planning for the future and extends gratitude to Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Development Research Center of the State Council, and Beijing Municipal Planning Office for Philosophy and Social Sciences for their generous support with the Base.
The new academic committee is chaired by Wang Tongsan, member of Academic Board Meeting of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and includes Research Fellow Li Shantong from Development Research Center of the State Council and other experts from research institutes and companies. The Base will keep on exploring frontier fields and conduct leading and proactive researches to construct new knowledge management system and to serve policy making, government decision making, and economic development.
