BISTU Students Win Awards on the First UAV Low Altitude Security Match

Beijing, 26th September, 2017 (BISTU)— The First UAV Low Altitude Security Match, i.e., 2017 China Low Altitude Security Campaign, successfully completes at UAV industry zone of Liyang City, Jiangsu Province. BISTU team composed of students from School of Automation, i.e., Yu Shuxian, Yuan Qianqian, Ma Bowen, Yin Kemeng, and Zhang Rongchai, and supervised by Fu Xingjian and Hou Ming, wins two Second Prizes and three Third Prizes in five items.

The Match has 8 items in two categories, i.e., fire fighting simulation, pesticides spraying, vehicles surveillance, remote measurement of large-size fields, etc. Mr. Fu Xingjian also serves as one of expert committee members and judges of the whole Campaign.

The campaign and Match is co-sponsored by the First Academy, the Second Academy and the Third Academy of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, the 11th Academy and the 12th Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, Information Center of State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, and Liyang City government. And the match gathers over 100 teams from UAV industry and universities like Shanghai Jiaotong University, Beihang University, Tianjin University, etc.
