Beijing, 14th July, 2017 (BISTU)--- Closing ceremony of military training for BISTU students enrolled in 2016 successfully concludes at Pingbei Training Base. The ceremony is attended by President Wang Yongsheng, Vice Presidents Wang Xiuyan and Xu Baojie, directors of BISTU divisions, vice deans of schools, and leadership of the Training Base. On behalf of BISTU, Wang Yongsheng presents silk banners to the Training base to express thanks for their support with military training.
On behalf of BISTU, Wang Yongsheng extends thanks to officers of Pingbei Training Base and pays tribute to all students and teachers who have successfully completed the military training. Wang Yongsheng emphasizes that military training aims to encourage students to carry on fine traditions of Chinese servicemen, cultivate strictly self-disciplined habits, build up strong willpower, and enhance collective cohesion. Wang Yongsheng hopes that students bring fine qualities and working style back to their learning and life as well as their future work and life, particularly the spirit of solidarity, courageousness, and working with stamina and diligence.
Xu Baojie announces the list for individuals of excellence of the training. And the list of sectors of excellence of the training is announced by Wang Xiuyan who also presents the honor certificates. Fu Yupeng, Regimental Commander of military training, concludes in his address that fortnight has witnessed excellent performance of BISTU students in military training. They have successfully completed all missions assigned. They are vigorous and fully prepared. He hopes that students could carry on the spirit and realize their dreams in the future.
Yan Enpen delivers a speech as representative of all students receiving military training. He expresses that the fortnight has taught him a lot. In future life, he will inherit and carry on the fine tradition of military training and establish collective values to become excellent students of BISTU.
On the closing ceremony, all student receiving military training produce feedback performance. Reviewing stand of the Training Base welcomes square matrix of students marching with strength and vigor of youth. All 24 squares, with resounding slogans, march forward towards the Stand. Teachers who have helped in military training also form a matrix in performance. The students also offer performances of military boxing, female self-defense skills, semaphore (flag signals), and other techniques related to military training.
The Military Training commences July 1st 2017, attended by 2,542 BISTU students who enrolled in 2016. During the Training, the students have learned military boxing, flag signals, female self-defense skills, and practice in tactic skills of defending attacks of nuclear, biochemical, and chemical weapons.
