Beijing, 13th March 2019, (BISTU)—The 2019 Job Fair for BISTU Graduating Students, jointly organized by BISTU and Beijing Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security, successfully completes on Xiaoying Campus. The Fair is aimed at building a platform to offer more job choices for both employers and graduating students.
As a fair of large scale and high quality, this Fair attracts 114 employers which offer 1,126 jobs. It is well-received by employers and all graduating students. The employers include Beijing Public Transport Corporation, Beijing Subway, Beijing North Star Company Limited, Beijing Zhu Zong Corporation, etc. and jobs offered covers all academic disciplines at BISTU.
President Wang Yongsheng and Deputy Secretary Wang Xiuyan of CPC BISTU Committee hold talks with directors of Steering and Service Center for Graduating Students in Beijing. Wang Yongsheng introduces basic information of the University in respect of talent cultivation, educational features and employment of graduating students and extends thanks to the Center for their support and guidance. Wang Xiuyan offers an introduction to academic disciplinary distribution of graduating students and other relating issues.
On the Fair, Wang Yongsheng and Wang Xiuyan extend warm welcome to employers and hold talks with them for information on development and job requirement of the employers. Leaders of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security also exchange information with supervisors in charge of employment of graduating students. They express that BISTU graduating students are always well-received by employers and in the future it is expected that more excellent talents will be cultivated by the University.
Full and detailed communication is conducted between graduating students who are well prepared and employers who are anticipating to meet their job demands. Based on merits of students, BISTU schools recommend students of excellence to employers. The Fair also attracts a number of freshmen and sophomores who express that it is of great help for their career planning and academic learning.
This semester the University will hold 5 job fairs to expand employment channels and build bridges for graduating students and employers.
