BISTU Senior Administrators Conduct Inspection for Preparations for the New Semester

Beijing, 22nd February, 2019, (BISTU)— All BISTU senior administrators, accompanied by directors of General Administration Office, Academic Affairs’ Office, Students’ Affairs Office, Logistics Department, and Office for Security and Safety, conduct inspection for preparations for the new semester on various campuses.  

President Wang Yongsheng inspects Xiaoying campus and raises clear requirements for making sound preparations for the new semester. On on-campus super market, Wang Yongsheng carefully checks standards of sanitation and health, food categories, and fire-fighting equipment. He requests that all staff at the supermarket shall act as qualified gatekeeper for food safety and offer quality service for all students and faculties. In students’ halls of residence, he checks relating facilities, inquires information on students coming back to campus, and lays stresses on safety in respect of use of electricity and fire-fighting. In university canteen, Wang Yongsheng checks sanitary condition of kitchens. And in control center of Office for Security and Safety, Wang Yongsheng requests that all devices shall be working all around the day so as to be well prepared for any unexpected events relating to safety of students and faculties.  

Wang Yongsheng also asks for information on preparations for teaching in the coming new semester at Service Center for Teaching, Service Center for Students Financing, Multimedia Control Center, and Psychological Health Center. He also inspects Field Practice Center for Electro-mechanics and lays special emphasis on safety in labs. At University Hospital, Wang Yongsheng extends thanks to all health care workers and says that quality, timely service is expected by all students and faculties and staff.  

 

Deputy Secretary General Liu Xiaoyi of CPC BISTU Committee and Vice President Chen Gang respectively inspect Jianxiangqiao Campus and Qinghe Campus. They request that sound preparations shall be made in respect of teaching, logistics, and campus safety. All campuses are now ready to greet students to come back to their home away from home.
