Beijing, 9th January, 2018 (BISTU)— National Awarding Conference on Science and Technology Achievements, held on January 8th in Beijing, witnesses the Second Prize for National Science and Technology Inventions being granted with Autonomous Navigation and Control Technology for Overload Flight Vehicles, a project with BISTU participation. It indicates that BISTU has made a new breakthrough in high dynamic navigation area.
This project is the collaboration among BISTU Municipal Key Lab of High Dynamic Navigation Technology and two schools of Beijing Institute of Technology, i.e., School of Automation and School of Aerospace Engineering. The project invents an anti-over loading helix and raises the solution to autonomous navigation and control for overloading flight vehicles, which conquers the problem with autonomous navigation and control of high overload flight vehicles.
Beijing Municipal Key Lab of High Dynamic Navigation Technology is officially approved by Beijing Municipal Commission of Science and Technology in June 2013. Since then it has won one First Prize and one Second Prize in National defense Science and Technology, one Second and one Third Prize of Beijing Municipal Award on Science and Technology, one award on Patent of Excellence in China, and one Second prize and two Third Prizes in Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology. Also the Lab has two faculties nominated as Rising Stars of Science and Technology by Beijing and is successfully enlisted in 2016 in cultivation and development engineering for innovation bases of Beijing.
