Sponsored by Chinese Association of Automation and hosted by Robot Competition Committee of Chinese Association of Automation, Industrial Technology Research Institute of Zhejiang University, and Education Bureau of Kunshan, this competition, supported by Automation Teaching Construction Commission of Ministry of Education, attracts 480 teams from over a hundred universities of China.

BISTU’s home service robot has been applied key technologies like multi-interactive mode, object segmentation, indoor positioning, mobile fetching, auditory positioning and voice recognition, categorized item recognition, face recognition, etc. According to team members, BISTU team has attended a number of items and has a very tight schedule, which leaves little time for on-site adjustment with the robots. They have to work over night one day prior to the competition. All team members work closely together to solve various technological problems. Members are fearless of all difficulties. And we do not only win in technology but also are recognized and accepted, to a high degree, by our counterparts and organizing committee, says the team.
