Beijing, 18th July 2018 (BISTU)— The meeting on launching “Assessment Theories and Technology on Service Value and Cultural Communication”, a national key project organized by Zhang Jian, Dean of BISTU School of Economics and Management, is held on Xiaoying Campus on 17th July 2018. It is the very first time that BISTU acts as the host institution in national key research and development project.
The meeting is attended by Director Zhang Yuquan of Internet Platform Department of High Tech Research and Development Center of Ministry of Science and Technology, Supervisor Wang Yuanyuan of Internet Platform Department of High Tech Research and Development Center of Ministry of Science and Technology, Deputy Director Fu Wenjun of Science and Technology Development Department of Beijing Municipal Commission of Science and Technology, Prof. Jiang Wei from China Communication University, Research Fellow Zhang Shuwu of Institute of Automation of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Prof. Qin Yong from Radio and Television Institute of State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, BISTU Vice President Chen Gang, faculties of BISTU Office for Scientific Research, and other 40 project members from Wuhan University, University of China Academy of Sciences, Peking University, China Technology Exchange, Center for Business Science and Technology Quality of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC), and Guoxue Shidai Cultural Communication Co. Ltd. etc.
On behalf of BISTU, Chen Gang extends thanks to Ministry of Science and Technology and Beijing Municipal Commission of Science and Technology for their support and trust. He expresses that as the host institution BISTU shoulders the responsibility of completing this national key project. The whole University will coordinate all resources available and strengthen cooperation with other participating institutions to successfully complete the research.
A detailed report is delivered by the project team. Expert team shows that the project shall center on three core areas, optimize organizational structure, and strengthen general objectives of the Project. Zhang Yuquan explains regulations of national key projects and emphasizes that host institution shall shoulder greater responsibility in organization and management for successful completion of the project.
Predecessors of National Key Research and Development Project include National Key Fundamental Science Research Development Plan (National 973 Project), National High-Tech Research and Development Plan (National 863 Project), and National Science and Technology Supporting Project. It aims at research and development of key researches in social welfare concerning public livelihood as well as key science issues, technology, and products concerning core competence of industries, integrated self-dependent innovative competence, and national security.
