Beijing, 25th March, 2016(BISTU)--- De Montfort University delegation led by Pro Vice-Chancellor Nigel Wright visit BISTU and explore cooperative projects in the field of mechatronics. 　　 

The meeting is hosted by Dr. Lu Jing, BISTU Director of International Cooperation Department. Prof. Huang Min, Dean of School of Electromechanical Engineering introduces the School and programs. He hopes that the two institutions could work together in the area of mechanical design manufacturing and automation and vehicle engineering, both of which are strengths of BISTU. Focus shall be put on undergraduate programs and cooperation in academic research. Huang Min suggests.  

Prof. Nigel Wright offers introduction to De Montfort University and its faculties, i.e., Faculty of Art, Design and Humanities, Faculty of Business and Law, Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, The Faculty of Technology, Institute of Creative Technology, etc. Prof. Nigel Wright is also the Dean of Technology. He hopes that the two universities could start collaboration in mechanical engineering, electronics, etc. The delegation and BISTU explore details on modes of cooperation, language training, and scholarship arrangement.  

Prof. Huang Min sends invitation to Prof. Nigel Wright to attend ISTAI (International Symposium on Test Automation & Instrumentation) to be held in September 2016.  

The delegation members also include Gao Hong, Manager of China Projects of De Montfort. Wang Hongjun Vice Dean of School of Electromechanical Engineering and staff of International Cooperation Department attend the meeting and discussion.
