Beijing, 13th November, 2015(BISTU) --- Vice President Xu Baojie met and talked to contestant team of Chienkuo Technology University for 2015 Robot Contest of University Students in China Five Provinces.  

Xu Baojie extended warmest welcome to the team members for their fourth trip to the contest which aimed at encouraging mutual learning and innovative practice between institutions. As is well known scientific innovation is the core drive for social and economic development. As the long-established friends, BISTU and Chienkuo Technology University have collaborated and worked closely together for years. The Contest served as a good platform for further exploration of collaboration between the two institutions.  

On his second trip to the Contest, Prof. Tsai Chi-Sheng commented that robot technology, although has been relatively mature, still had a big room for development and advancement. CTU wished to present its talents as well as learn from other teams.  

CTU sent to the Contest 12 contestants who will be participating in four items of contests.  

For years of generous support with the Contest from CTU, on behalf of the organizing committee, Xu Baojie presented Special Contribution cup and certificate to CTU team and wished them all the best in the Contest.   

The meeting were also attended by Prof. Lu Jing, Director of Office for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs and Deputy Director of Academic Affairs Office Jin Chunhua.
