Beijing, 12th January, 2018 (BISTU)—　SeaDragon Innovation Institute of International Education delegation, headed by Director Chen Huabei, visits BISTU for discussion on Sino-German Industry 4.0 institute of industry-education integration. BIST President Wang YOgnsheng and Vice President Xu Baojie meet with the delegation and introduce development and features of BISTU.  

Director Chen Huabei offers an introduction to SeaDragon Innovation Institute of International Education. The Institute aims at promoting Sino-German Industry 4.0 institute of industry-education integration and strives to connect 100 Chinese universities with corresponding German higher educational institutions. It will help build up a Steinbeis-type dual system of college education in China so as to offer intellectual support with regional economic development and Industry 2025. Professor Li Jie of SeaDragon Innovation Institute of International Education introduces the dual system education at Steinbeis-Hochschule Berlin and explains details on possible, feasible areas and pathways of future cooperation.  

Xu Baojie says that BISTU focuses on the feature of information and lays stress on the demand of national development strategy. We emphasizes on nurturing talents of applied learning. It is in agreement with ideas and strategies of Sino-German Industry 4.0 institute of industry-education integration. Education globalization is also a key part of BISTU’s 13th Five-Year Plan and serves as a substantial pathway to making breakthroughs in education and teaching. It is expected that both institutions work together to explore new ways of education-industry integration so as to promote multi-dimensional development of BISTU globalization.  

The meeting and discussion is also attended by He Ping of SeaDragon Innovation Institute of International Education, Dr. Lu Jing, Director of International Cooperation Department, Deputy Director Mi Jie of Academic Affairs Office, and Vice Dean Cui Xinhong of Postgraduate School.
