The Graduation Ceremony for Postgraduates in 2013 was held on April 2. Zhen Junli, Chairmen of the Administrative Committee, and President Liu Gonghui put the “scarves” on the representatives as the presents to graduates of 2013 from BISTU.

“With the logos of our university and our alumni association, and the number of the year 2013 as well, the scarf shows that now you are a student of BISTU and tomorrow you will be an alumnus. It is an emotional bond which will link you with your alma mater forever”, said President Liu.

Later the two leaders and some professors presented these graduates degree certificates, diploma certificates and honor certificates. On behalf of BISTU, Zhen and Liu also accepted souvenirs from these students to their alma mater. After receiving their certificates, the excited graduates ran to the back where they took photographs with “themselves” on the smiling wall. “What you will be, wherever you will be, you are always our students. And we will always be proud of having you once.” President Liu spoke out his expectation with deep emotion. Wang Guoquan, a postgraduate supervisor said that he hoped that the graduates would always have a strong sense of responsibility and would go through all ups and downs and lead a happy life with a strong will, good health and a thankful heart.

Yu Yajing, a representative of postgraduates said that they would go on with the motto of our university in their mind, persistently pursue new knowledge and innovatively put them into practice. She promised that they would never fail alma mater’s expectation and would keep creating accomplishment.
