Beijing, 11th July 2026 (BISTU)--- Chairperson Xie Jiangling of BISTU University Council visited Tianjin Rail Transit Group and signed the agreement of cooperation on 10th July 2026. It was aimed at implementing the strategy of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development and promoting integration of education, sci-tech, and talent. President Wu Bingjun and General Manager Guo Lei of Tianjin Rail Transit Group met with Chairperson Xie Jiangling.

Xie Jiangling offered an introduction to BISTU. As a high-level university of applied learning with distinctive feature in information technology, BISTU has strong strengths in information technology and intelligent equipment. It was hoped that cooperation between the two parties would be integrated into the big picture of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development. And both parties shall strengthen the interconnectivity among industries, learning, and research to promote high-efficient technological transfer. And real corporate engineering scenarios should be introduced into education to jointly nurture outstanding innovative talents. Xie Jiangling said.

Guo Lei expressed warm welcome to Xie Jiangling and BISTU delegation members and offered an introduction to Tianjin Rail Transit Group. The Group was now developing along a digitalized, intelligence-oriented track, indicating advantages in scenarios, big data, and industrial resources. Great importance was attached to cooperation with higher educational institutes. He looked forward to strengthening school-enterprise integration and industry-education fusion, aiming to cultivate new-quality productive forces and bring new momentum to rail transit in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei .

Vice President He Wei commented that both parties could work together in building a joint research platform and conducting joint research. Corporate mentors were suggested to participate in cultivation of postgraduates so as to achieve seamless connection between talent cultivation and industrial demand. He Wei said.

Both parties signed the agreement of cooperation. Research strengthen of BISTU in intellisense, intelligent control, intelligent equipment, intelligent computing, and intelligent decision-making would be applied to demand and technological innovation of Tianjin Rail Transit. Joint research projects, development of new technologies, and application of technologies would also be explored.

Xie Jiangling and delegation members visited exhibition hall and command hall of Tianjin Rail Transit to learn about achievements of the Group in rail transit, application of green technology, and development of core technologies.

The event was attended by sub-companies and administrative departments of Tianjin Rail Transit Group as well as directors and deans of BISTU President’s Office, Graduate School, Office of Education-Industry Integration, College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and College of Computer Science.
