Beijing, 5th March 2026 (BISTU)--- Capital Normal University delegation headed by Vice President Zheng Wentao visited BISTU on 5th March 2026 to conduct survey on Sino-foreign joint running programs and undergraduate admissions. Vice President Wang Xingfen met with the delegation.

Wang Xingfen extended warm welcome to Capital Normal University delegation and offered an introduction to BISTU in respect of history, academic disciplines, talent cultivation, and Sino-foreign joint running programs. She pointed out that Sino-foreign joint running programs are important component in boosting educational globalization and nurturing inter-disciplinary talents. It was hoped that both universities would deepen inter-school cooperation to share resources and experiences and to explore new models of education. She added that the cooperation would lay a solid foundation for cultivation of high-quality inter-disciplinary talents with global horizon.

Zheng Wentao expressed thanks to the warm reception and spoke highly of the achievements that BISTU has made in talent cultivation, academic research, admissions, and Sino-foreign joint running education. The survey suggested that the two institutions could work together in quite some areas. A standing mechanism of communication and coordination would be established to strengthen collaboration between the two universities in talent cultivation, admissions, and educational globalization. Zheng Wentao said.

Director Li Zhuo of BISTU Department of International Affairs produced a report on talent cultivation and Sino-foreign joint running programs. Both universities then discussed issues concerning details in future cooperation.

The meeting and discussion were joined by directors of admissions and international affairs of the two universities.
