Beijing, 23rd October 2025 (BISTU)---- Vice Chairperson Wang Wenjie of BISTU University Council met with Changchun Guanghua University delegation headed by Vice President Li Chunsheng on 23rd October 2025.

On behalf of BISTU, Wang Wenjie extended warm welcome to Changchun Guanghua University delegation and offered an introduction to BISTU in respect of educational history, educational characteristics, and achievement in talent cultivation, with focus on the role of the University Library at Shahe Campus. He pointed out that building modern libraries involved not only the changes in physical spaces but also the deep reform of service philosophy, management models, and technological empowerment. He hoped that libraries of both universities would work together to explore new pathways for organic integration between intelligent library services and cultural inheritance.

Li Chunsheng expressed thanks for the warm reception. Following an introduction to Changchun Guanghua University in respect of development history, academic disciplines and programs, educational achievements, and library resources, he commented that BISTU has made remarkable achievements in design, functions, and informationization of libraries. Changchun Guanghua University is currently upgrading the university’s library, aiming to enhance the richness of cultural connotation and convenience of intelligent services. It is convinced that cooperation between the two institutions would help greatly in this regard. He added.

Both institutions held discussions on spatial design, seating management system, and other issues concerning library building.

Li Chunsheng and delegation members visited BISTU University Library at Shahe Campus and exchange comments on cultural expression in library, function-settings, and scenarios for intelligent services.

The meeting was also attended by Director Wang Haiyan of the University Library of Changchun Guanghua University, Director Zhang Zhiqiang of the Library of Shunyi Campus of Capital Medical University, and Director Zhang Jian of BISTU University Library.
