Closure of Seventh “Creativity Cup” for Academic Sci & Tech Works by College Students in Their Extracurricular Activities

The seventh “Creativity Cup” for Academic Sci & Tech Works by College Students in Their Extracurricular Activities, which lasted up to half a year, has come to its closure. After competitive rivalry, the first prizes were taken by School of Information Management, Graduate School, and School of Electromechanical Engineering. Individual first prizes were won by Material Flow Model Study for Salt Lake Chemical Enterprises’ Production System--A Case Study of Deep Processing of Magnesium Salt, Graduate School; and Creative Design of Energy-saving Vehicle, and Fourth-generation Design of FSC Formula One, School of Electromechanical Engineering.

 

Participants, no matter in the social sciences group or natural sciences group, carried out their researches based on their majors, focusing on hot societal issues. Among their works, some did investigatory or theoretical researches on annoying mobile phone ads, and everyday Weibo; others showed their care and offered suggestions for poor students, college graduates-turned village managers, and student information management system; still others researched carbon emission, information technology, and logistics management. Their works covered a wide range of areas, with economy, society, machinery, and information technology as the hot topics.

 

From all the works, 15 will be picked out for the seventh Capital Challenge Cup.
