Inspiring Dream for Progress: A Different Winter Holiday at BISTU
Spring comes as the first season of a year, just as actions speak louder than words. In the course of building a “Year-round University”, Students, faculties and staff of BISTU have been progressing on the pathway to future. Teaching and research continues and services remain available. They are truly following the principle of “diligence and honor”, which opens a new page for high-quality development of the University.
Focusing on research to boost teaching
Winter holiday is a period of time best for doing research. Students and faculties of BISTU have made the best of it. They have voiced and showed their patriotism with their actions in learning and research.

The winter holiday this year has witnessed a warm, comfortable, and safe Spring Festival for all faculties and students staying on campus, owing to the warmth and quality services of the University.
On 9th February 2024 (eve of the lunar new year), Secretary Xie Jiangling of CPC BISTU Committee and President Guo Fu expressing sincere and warm solicitude to students staying on campus and faculties and staff staying on their duties

Faculties and staff of Logistics Management Department remain on their duty. They have conducted overhauling and improvement of facilities on campus during the Winter Holiday.
Office for New Campus Construction has fully utilized the holiday. On 26th January 2024, an overhauling project for office building at Shehe Campus was launched.
On 31st January 2024, a test on the auto tracking and targeting jet suppression system of the University Stadium was conducted.
Acceptance inspection on fire control was conducted at Student Halls of Residence on 6th February 2024

The Winter Holiday saw BISTU make progresses in all fields and BISTUers work diligently. It is the pioneering spirit that has been guiding BISTUers on their way to future.
On 16th January 2024, BISTU signed a strategic cooperative agreement with Zhangjiakou Government to promote Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development with actions
On 19th January 2024, BISTU signed a cooperative agreement with SDIC Human Resources
On 21st January 2024, the finals of National Teaching Digitization Competition--- the first national digitization competition covering students of colleges, middle schools and primary schools--- was held at BISTU
On 24th January 2024, Industry-education Integration Community of Services and Applications for National Cloud Computing, jointly launched by BISTU, Lenovo, and Beijing Changping Vocational School, witnessed its opening ceremony
On 21st February 2024, inaugural meeting of the Demonstration Park for Vocational Education in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei welcomed its opening ceremony at Gu’an Campus of Beijing Institute of Economics and Management. BISTU became one of the first-cohort agreement-signing universities
