@Cai Tianyuan

Spring scenery greets the eye; sweet blooms perfume the air. Such is the delight of the new semester at BISTU, full of exuberance and vitality. I hope that I will strengthen my competence of coping with frustrations with an open, positive mind and that I will learn more about my major so that I will fall in love with it. I will be ready for the exams and keep writing my diary. All the best wishes to you!

@Wang Sihan

A good beginning makes a good ending. In the new semester, I will get into the habit of keeping good hours and work on my major in high spirits. I will keep a healthy eating habit and eat more fruits and vegetables. And I will do more physical exercise!

@Feng Danyang

I will remain positive in the new semester. I will not rush into conclusions when facing with problems. With composure and calmness, I will try my best to find solutions. When I feel distracted or distraught, I will find ways, such as studying in a different place, to make myself better. I will be courageous to challenge myself in fields in which I am not skilled.

Advices from students of higher classes:

1. Choose your options modules based on your interests. Try not to choose optional modules as a group in that it will ruin your chance of meeting new friends. Quite some optional modules would truly help you with personal skills development or career planning.

2. Make up the information gap. Actively communicate with students of higher classes. On-campus communication apps would serve as useful media channels for you to look for advices on optional modules. Please do take notes in class.

3. Try to find places of fun and tasty food where you could hang out with friend in spare time. It is a part of your college life.
