Wang Yongsheng is informed of construction progress and working plans concerning the research building and the administration building. He also produces advices and suggestions for some issues.  

On the seminar followed, Wang Yongsheng extends warmest greetings to all faculties and staff for their contributions to construction of the New Campus. He points out that faculties and staff have been dedicating to work, overcome one difficulty after another, and made contributions to the mission of Beijing Municipality and development of the University. Wang Yongsheng stresses that construction of the New Campus is a big event for the whole university. Each division and office have their own responsibilities. We shall unite closely together, with sound overall planning, to achieve the goal of integration of human resources, sharing of resources, and innovative development of the University.  

Regarding construction of the New Campus, Wang Yongsheng requests that firstly issues in respect of re-settlement concerning the New Campus, infrastructure construction, civic facilities, and services to be provided with students, faculties and staff, shall be taken good care of. Meanwhile, communication and information exchange with Changping District government and neighboring institutions shall be enhanced. Learning from their successful experiences is a good way to solve current actual problems so that we could make sure to move into the New Campus in a timely manner. And secondly, security and safety management always enjoys priority. A safe and secure New Campus requests equal attention paid to epidemic containment, safety in construction, security in funds, safety of staff and faculties, and safety and security in all other related areas.  

Ma Qinghong introduces current progress of construction of the New Campus in general. Lin Guoce offers an introduction to bidding and working plans on the New Campus. Director Ying Shuzhi of Office for New Campus Construction delivers a report on epidemic containment, communication with local governments, and key issues in near future. Executive Deputy Director Zhao Lisheng of Management Committee of the New Campus talks about working plans on moving into the New Campus. And Director Zhang Li of Financial Office explains relating procedures, progress, and plans on performance appraisal in 2021.
