Beijing, 9th June 2023 (BISTU)--- Chair by Vice President Yu Shijie, the Conference on facilitating the 14th Five Year Plan was successfully held at Taihanglu Campus on 8th June 2023. The Conference was attended by Directors of Development Strategy and Planning Division, Organizational Department, Publicity Department, Academic Affairs Office, Office for Scientific Research, Postgraduate School, Human Resources Office, International Cooperation Department, Office for New Campus Construction, Information and Network Center, Office for Management Committee of the New Campus, etc.  

Reports were delivered by directors of related divisions and offices on general missions and specific tasks, current barriers, and future development of the 14th Five Year plan.  

After reviewing the reports, Yu Shijie pointed out that the University has made substantial progresses in all aspects since the 14th Five Year Plan was established. Currently, the University endeavors to implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress and conduct the thematic education focusing on learning and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. On this crucial stage, we were expected to summarize past achievements, examine existing problems, and produce solutions to guarantee that all missions and tasks of the 14th Five Year Plan would be accomplished. It was also an important move in promoting thematic education and high quality of BISTU. All divisions, departments, offices, and schools of the University should take the key opportunity of learning and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era to locate our weaknesses, analyze causes, and offer corresponding responses.
