Inspecting canteens on food safety

Wang Dapin conducted inspection at student halls of residence, canteens, Central Control Room for safety and security, construction site of the library, and research building to check safety and security issues on electricity, gas, food, safety facilities, emergency plans, etc. in buildings, laboratories, and construction sites. Constructive suggestions were produced on matters of safety and security in these places.

Wang Dapin spoke highly of the effective measures and achievements of safety management at BISTU. He pointed out that campus safety was crucially important and all staff members should strengthen their awareness of safety to make sure that the campus was safe and secure during the winter holiday. Wang Dapin extended greetings in advance to faculties and staff who would stay working on campus during the winter holiday.

Guo Fu expressed thanks to Wang Dapin and other delegation members. He offered an introduction to measures and policies of the University in respect of providing sufficient resources and better services with students and faculties who stayed on campus during the winter holiday for learning or research purposes. He expressed that the University would seriously implement the guidelines of supervising institutions on campus safety and security. While enhancing political awareness, the University would spare no efforts to guaranteeing safety and security on campus and providing better services with students and faculties to ensure that they would enjoy a happy and auspicious Spring Festival on campus. Taking the opportunity of safety inspection on campus, the University would put feasible measures to practice to find hidden dangers, perfect emergency plans, and make adjustments and modifications whenever or wherever possible.

The inspection was joined by directors of safety and security division of the Working Committee of CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, Vice President Ye Xiangzhong, directors of General Administration Office, Students Affairs Office, Office for Infrastructure, Logistics Management Department, Office for Safety and Security, and Office for Laboratory Management as well as staff members of fire control department of the local government.
