Beijing, 20th September 2023 (BISTU) ---   Jointed organized by BISTU and Employment and Entrepreneurship Center for Students of Beijing-based Universities, 2024 autumn job fair successfully completed in Taihanglu Campus on 20th September 2023. Secretary Xie Jiangling of CPC BISTU Committee and President Guo Fu visited the job fair and held talks with students. Director Kuang Xiaozhen of Employment and Entrepreneurship Center for Students of Beijing-based Universities was present on the Fair.  

The Job Fair attracted over 100 well-known employers, including Sinopec, BOE Technology Group Co., Ltd., China International Telecommunication Construction Corporation, CRSC Communication & Information Corporation, Beijing Municipal Bridge & Road Maintenance Management Group Co., Ltd., etc., with state-owned enterprises accounting for 44%, private enterprises accounting for 38%, and medium, small-sized enterprises and micro-companies accounting for 18%. These companies covered a wide spectrum of industries such as internet, finance, science and technology, education, intelligent manufacturing, etc., and provided more than 5,000 jobs for students of various backgrounds.  

The Job Fair saw well prepared students, supportive faculties and staff of the University, and enthusiastic employers.  

Work on employment of graduating students in 2024 has commenced at BISTU. A number of on-campus job fairs would be organized to expand channels of employment for students and to build a bridge between employers and graduating students to ensure high-quality employment of students to graduate in 2024.  

The Job Fair was also visited by Deputy Secretary Wang Wenjie of CPC BISTU Committee, directors of Offices for Admissions and Career Consultancy, Office of Discipline Inspection, BISTU Youth League Committee, and secretaries and deans of BISTU schools.
