
Beijing, 2nd December 2025 (BISTU)--- BISTU and Bank of Beijing signed an agreement on innovative cooperation and establishment of a joint lab in finance and financial technology. The ceremony held on 1st December was attended by President Guo Fu, Vice Chairperson Wang Wenjie of the University Council, Vice President Zhang Jian as well as Chairman Huo Xuewen of Bank of Beijing, President Dai Wei of Bank of Beijing, and Vice President Xu Maomao of Bank of Beijing.

Guo Fu extended thanks to support from Bank of Beijing with development of BISTU and offered an introduction to the University in respect of educational history and research strengths. Targeting at building a high-level university with distinctive feature in information technology, BISTU has made remark achievements in academic disciplines, talent cultivation, academic research, financial technology, and digitization. It was expected that the agreement signing would be a new start for both institutions to work together on school-enterprise coordination and two-bound empowerment. He added.

Huo Xuewen extended warm welcome go President Guo Fu. Bank of Beijing has been committed to promoting technological finance, green finance, inclusive finance, aging finance, and digital finance. The cooperation between Bank of Beijing and BISTU will be strengthened. Both institutions would explore a new model of “finance plus education plus science & technology” to jointly contribute to social and economic development of Beijing. Hou Xuewen said.

Witnessed by Guo Fu, Huo Xuewen, Wang Wenjie, and Dai Wei, Zhang Jian and Zhao Zhengdang, Head of Business of Bank of Beijing, signed the agreement.

Guo Fu and Huo Xuewen jointly unveiled the joint lab of tech-finance and fin-tech.

The signing ceremony was also attended by Chief Information Officer Ming Lisong of Bank of Beijing, General Manager Wang Xiaoning of Tech-finance Department of Bank of Beijing, and directors and deans of the President’s Office of BISTU, Department of Finance, College of Automation (College of Artificial Intelligence), College of Computer Science, College of Management Science and Engineering, and Business School.
