Beijing, 7th June 2023 (BISTU)--- To promote learning and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, Deputy Secretary Yu Shijie and Deputy Secretary Wang Wenjie of CPC BISTU Committee visited Beijing University of Technology on 5th June 2023. The delegation members included Director Li Huatao of Organizational Department (member of Standing Committee of CPC BISTU Committee) as well as directors of Publicity Department, Human Resources Office, Development and Planning Office, Students Affairs Office, Office for Admissions and Career Consultancy, and School of Marxism. 　 

Secretary Jiang Zeting of CPC Beijing University of Technology Committee met with the delegation and offered an introduction to achievements and progresses of Beijing University of Technology in recent ten years. Deputy Secretary Zhang Hui of CPC Beijing University of Technology and Vice President Zhai Tianrui led the visit to Party Building Gallery of Beijing University of Technology and respectively hosted activities for exchange and communication attended by directors of Organizational Department, Publicity Department, Reform, Development and Planning Office, Human Resources Office, Students Affairs Office, Guiding Center for Employment and Entrepreneurship, School of Marxism, etc.  

Yu Shijie and Wang Wenjie expressed gratitude to Beijing University of Technology for sharing successful experiences. As a leading school among universities supervised by Beijing Municipality, Beijing University of Technology has been focusing on high quality development and making active contributions to development of Beijing. BISTU would learn from successful experiences and practices of Beijing University of Technology in respect of party building, inheritance of culture, team building, and ideological and political education. It was expected that the two universities would further strengthen cooperation to enhance capability of serving development of Beijing.  

On the discussion session, both universities exchanged experiences and practices in the field of team building, management development, grass-roots party building, the 14th Five Year Plan, evaluation and assessment of research institutes, college culture, media and publicity, party building for students, construction of one-stop community for students, entrepreneurship education, and reform and innovation in Marxism teaching.
