
Beijing, 29th November 2025 (BISTU)--- The 3rd Advanced Technology Integration and Development Forum of Shahe Higher Education Zone University Consortium successfully completed at Shahe Campus of BISTU on 28th November 2025. President Guo Fu addressed the opening ceremony hosted by Vice President Chen Xin. Director Xiong Yuchuan of School-Local Government Integration Division of Management Committee of Future Science City attended the Forum.

Guo Fu extended warm welcome to all attendees. He pointed out that Shahe Higher Education Zone University Consortium, as an important platform of pooling academic wisdom and facilitating commercialization of research findings, has been playing a vital role in enhancing inter-university collaboration and school-local government integration. Recent years have seen progresses of BISTU in cultivation of high-quality talents, R&D of key technologies, and service provided with municipal development. As a lead institution of the Consortium, BISTU will try our best to strengthen resource sharing among members. He added.

Xiong Yuchuan warmly congratulated the Forum. Shahe Higher Education Zone accommodated over 60,000 students of Beihang University, BISTU, etc., who are now studying in 18 first-class academic disciplines and 120 key labs of state level or municipal level. Shahe Higher Education Zone University Consortium has become a brand event in facilitating school-local government integration. She added that Changping District will provide due services and full support with development of the universities.

Chen Xin commented that BISTU will work closely together with members of the Consortium to shoulder our responsibility of the times, serve social and economic development of Beijing and Changping District, and contribute to inter-school and school-local government integration.
Keynote speeches were delivered by experts on aeronautics and astronautics, artificial intelligence, electronic information, and intelligent manufacturing.

Academician Liu Shanghe of Chinese Academy of Engineering, one of the pioneers of electrostatic safety engineering, delivered “UAV detection and countermeasure technologies”. He analyzed technological status quo and future development of UAV detection and proposed a new technology possibility.

Prof. Zhang Guanjun of Xi’an Jiaotong University, winner of the National Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars of China, delivered “Development and application of an analyzer for secondary electron emission and trap characteristics of spacecraft dielectric materials”, which offered a detailed introduction to originality, scientific value, key technology, and application of the analyzer.

Prof. Yu Xiang of Beihang University, winner of the National Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars of China, delivered “UAV bio-inspired autonomous navigation and safety control”, which offered a systematic explanation of progresses and challenges in UAV bio-inspired autonomous navigation.

Prof. Yang Hui of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, winner of National Young Scientists Award, delivered “Exploration and application of AI-enabled optical communication network technology”, which covered status quo, key technologies, and future trends of AI-enabled optical communication network technology.

Themed on “Intelligence-forged future”, the Forum established a dialogue for advanced technologies, built a platform of exchange and communication among universities of the Consortium for scientific and technological innovation, and enhanced commercialization and application of research findings.
The Forum was attended by over 300 attendees, including directors of university departments of the consortium members and BISTU faculty and students.
