Beijing, 13th March 2026 (BISTU)--- Upon invitation, President Guo Fu attended the 2026 Forum of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Coordinated Educational Development as a keynote speaker on 13th March 2026.

The Forum aimed to discuss topics concerning coordinated educational development, resource sharing, and in-depth industry-school integration among educational supervising institutions, higher educational institutions, research institutes, and enterprises in the three provinces.

Based on practices of BISTU in serving coordinated educational development in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, Guo Fu shared experiences and explorations in four areas, i.e., cross-region education, empowerment by research, educational globalization, and culture as the soft power. BISTU has established Huailai Campus in Zhangjiakou, a lab in Hejian, and a base of research finding commercialization in Wuqing. Remarkable progresses with these projects highlighted the value of regional coordinated development. Guo Fu added that the University would make further efforts to make BISTU-marked contributions to high-quality development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei in the new era.
