Beijing, 17th February 2023 (BISTU)--- Accompanied by directors of relating divisions and offices, Vice President Ye Xiangzhong inspected construction progress of health station at the University on 16th February 2023.  

Following information provided by relating divisions and offices on room setup, lay out, functions, number of beds, supporting facilities, supporting staff members, and operations of the health station, Ye Xiangzhong reviewed the report of Logistics Department on construction progress of the Station.  

Ye Xiangzhong pointed out that BISTU Health Station shall strictly follow requirements of supervising authorities and aim at safeguarding health of students and faculties. Specific work concerning the Station should be prepared. He requested that the professional role of the University Clinic should be brought into full play in the first place. A scientific arrangement was to be done to match medical resources on and off campus with health information of all students, faculties, and staff. Second, working plan of the Health Station should be further improved to provide standardized medical service in the University. Third, humanistic care for faculties and students, plus training of medical staff of the University Clinic, should be strengthened. Fourth, all preparations should be done before new semester commenced and green passage should be established between the University Clinic and corresponding hospitals. And fifth, health management and health education should be integrated in the Health Station while enhancing routine health monitoring for faculties and students.
