Beijing, 1st June, 2017 (BISTU)--- BISTU Workers’ Union organizes family activities for faculties and staff themed on Happy Children’s day at Yili Bread Factory in Daxing District. The activities are attended by over 100 families.  

 Yili Group, founded in 1906, is a famous China Time-honored Brand and is generally viewed as King of Bread. At the factory, parents and children firstly experience bread DIY. With guidance of professional bakers, children bring their hands-on skills and imagination into full play. They make bread of various shapes with a great variety of fillers and dressing such as sweet beat paste and raisins. Finally one after another lovely breads are made and presented. 　  

Parents and children also visit brand culture center of Yili and learn about transitions of China’s modern and contemporary history as well history of industrialization. They find that after reform and opening up, domestic enterprises have developed at a high speed. In workshop of Yili bread and Arctic Soda, children are shown how bread and soda water---which are only seen on goods shelf of market--- are produced on production line.  

When the activities close, children take their hand-made bread home with a happy holiday. These activities aim at offering a meaning and happy Children’s Day for BISTU faculties and staff as well as their children, enhancing family ties and parent-child relations, and promote emotion environment construction at the University.
