BISTU Senior Administrators Pay Visits to Students and Faculties Staying at School During Spring Festival

Beijing, 22nd January, 2018 (BISTU)—BISTU senior administrators, including Chairman Wang Chuanliang of University Council, President Wang Yongsheng, Vice Presidents Liu Yong, Chen Gang, Ma Qinghong, and Chen Qinghua, and Assistant to VP Lin Guoce, accompanied by directors of relating divisions, pay visit to BISTU campuses and extend regards to students and faculties staying at school during Spring Festival.  

 

The senior administrators successively visit different sectors and departments and extend their warmest season’s greetings to staff and faculties who are still working there during the vacation. The staff and faculties express that they are deeply moved with the visits and they will work at their best to make sure that all students and faculties of BISTU will enjoy a peaceful, happy holiday.  

 

In security offices and surveillance offices of different campuses, Wang Chuanliang and Wang Yongsheng enquire about details of work shifts and security arrangements. They specially note that during the Spring Festival, security enjoys top priority in all arrangements. It is a must to ensure that the University is a safe and secure place for all students and faculties and staff. 

 

At University Hospital, the senior administrators say that students staying at school during Spring Festival need more care so that those doctors and nurses working their shifts shall be even more careful and considerate.   

At University Canteen, the senior administrators enquire about the number of students and faculties eating there and stress that delicious, hot food shall be available for students who are staying at school during winter vacation. And Chinese New Year’s Eve dinner shall be particularly arranged.

At Students’ Halls, they learn about the number of students staying there and other relating information and ask the faculties and staff to stay on their posts to make a secure environment for students.  

The senior administrators also offer detailed instructions for security and safety issues during Spring Festival at power supply offices and boiler rooms.

On the New Campus, the senior administrators specifically check up security arrangements and emphasize that security is for ever the most important and that during Spring Festival it is even more important. It is hoped that all faculties and staff there shall attach enough importance to security issues and contribute to construction of the New Campus.

A meaningful talk is organized between senior administrators and students staying at school during the vacation.

The senior administrators also visit some retired faculties and staff and extend their warmest season’s greetings to them.
