Beijing, 23rd May, 2017 (BISTU)— BISTU delegation led by Wang Chuanliang, Chairman of University Council, and accompanied by Vice President Liu Xiaoyi and Vice President Feng Xiaochun as well as Director Lu Lei of Organizational Department and heads of other divisions, visits Jiaxing city of Zhejiang Province from 19^th May to 21^st May, 2017. 

Jiaxing is the birth place of Chinese Communist Party as well as a historically famous city. Located in southern part of Yangtze River Delta and north of Zhejiang province, it is right in the middle of four major cities, i.e., Shanghai, Hangzhou, Ningbo and Suzhou. With its advantageous geographical location and developed economy, Jiaxing has become an influential “city of technological innovation” in Yangtze River Delta. It attaches enough importance to high-end talents who play a leading role in social economic development. BISTU and Jiaxing sign cooperative agreement earlier this year in May 8^th when Jiaxing hosts Redship Cup Jiaxing Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. The agreement covers a wide range of activities, including training of specialized talents, mutual exchange in working in secondment, joint establishment of research center, construction of field practice base, etc.   

While in Jiaxing, Wang Chuanliang and delegation members visit Tengxun Entrepreneurial Space and Zhejiang Big Data Exchange Center located in Tongxiang city, Wuzhen Internet Exhibition Center (permanent address for World Internet Summit), XiuZhou National High Tech Industrial Development Zone, and Xiuzhou Coffee Entrepreneurial Space. The delegation also pays tribute to the red ship in Nanhu Lake of Jiaxing.
