Outstanding Graduates of BJUT Fan Gongxiu Honors College Shared Learning Experience at BISTU Honors College

Beijing, 19th June 2025 (BISTU)--- BISTU Honors College greeted 6 outstanding graduates of Fan Gongxiu Honors College of Beijing University of Technology (hereafter referred to as Fan College) on 18th June 2025 to share their learning experiences. The event was joined by President Guo Fu and Vice President Wang Xingfen and was hosted by Executive Vice Dean Wang Lei of BISTU Honors College.

Guo Fu extended warm welcome to the outstanding students of Fan College. BISTU Honors College aims to nurture innovative talents with love for one’s country and family, global horizon, profound expertise, and exceptional leadership. These outstanding graduates of Fan College are role models for students to follow. It is expected that BISTU Honors College students would make scientific planning about personal development, be bold to explore the unknown, and seek excellence with perseverance. Guo Fu said.

Wang Xingfen extended thanks to students of Fan College. She expressed that Fan College, based on academic and teaching strengths of BJUT, has rich experiences in cultivating outstanding talents. She hoped that the two honors colleges would strengthen exchange and communication for mutual growth.

The six students, i.e., Zhang Lining, Chen Ruiyang, Ci Ruixi, Yin Mohan, Wang Ruihan, and Qi Ji, shared their experiences in learning methodology exploration, joining research projects, attending scientific and technological competitions, and global exchange and cooperation.

The Q&A session saw satisfactory answers to questions raised by BISTU Honors College students on how to define learning objectives, choose the right pathways, explore other areas of interest, and bring their academic strengths to full play.

The meaningful exchange between the two honors colleges brings opportunity of learning for BISTU Honors College students and new momentum into the cultivation mechanism for outstanding talents.

The meeting was joined by all faculty and staff and about 20 students of BISTU Honors College.
