As an academic unit directly under the University, the College of Communication Arts and Sciences provides two undergraduate programs – Public Administration and Communication Studies to its students. The Faculty has a teaching body with strong teaching and research competence. Teachers with senior professional titles account for 32% of the 22 staff members.
With the training of high quality and practical graduates as its top priority, the Faculty emphasizes innovation and hands-on practice. The Faculty features a Comprehensive Experimental Center that consists of computer labs, media editing labs, multimedia studios and labs of computer-aided telephone interview, etc. All these facilities are used for students’ practical activities in public administration, policy analysis, e-government affairs, media editing, internet communication and software application, etc.
