The College of Foreign Studies is in charge of the training of English majors and English courses for undergraduate students & postgraduate students at BISTU. The College grants the Bachelor of Arts Degree in English (Business English and Translation) and provides language courses in German, Japanese and Russian. The College has a faculty of 79 teachers, with 4 full professors and 16 associate professors. 30 of its total staff have oversea study experience.

The College is equipped with 16 advanced language labs, 1 English Language Autonomic Learning Center and 1 lab for simultaneous interpretation. The College also employs a group of foreign experts to ensure the high quality of instruction.
