College of Information and Communication Engineering
The College of Information and Communication Engineering has Communication Engineering and Electronic Information Engineering as its two undergraduate programs and Communication Engineering (1st level discipline conferring master degrees), Communication & Information System and Signal & Information Processing (2nd level disciplines conferring master degrees) as postgraduate programs. The College also confers professional master degrees in Electronic and Communication Engineering. The College has a highly qualified and well experienced teaching team. Among its 35 faculty and staff, there are 1 National Excellent Teacher, 3 Excellent Teachers of Beijing Municipality and 1 Famous Teacher of Beijing Municipality. 12 of the staff are professors or associate professors. 2 members of the College' s faculty are government-subsidized experts. All of the young lecturers of this College have Ph. D. degrees.
The College has the Information & Communication System Laboratory (Key Laboratory of Ministry of Information Industry) and 2 research institutes. The College also consists of the laboratories of communication technology and electronic information technology for undergraduate education. The College is involved in a wide range of international exchanges and cooperation. Cooperation has been set up with universities in the U.S.A., Sweden, etc.
